Beginning Monday, January 4, and until further notice, Modesto Area Express (MAX) will be operating on a “Saturday Plus” schedule for all routes. We hope this temporary schedule reduction will provide riders with the safe and reliable service they deserve.
What is Saturday Plus?
Saturday Plus is a temporary schedule reduction impacting all Weekday routes. The traditional Weekday routes for most routes will operate with a modified Saturday inbound and outbound schedule. Routes will also start earlier than the standard Saturday schedule.
Typical weekday only routes 24, 28, 35, 44, and Commuter Routes MAX to ACE, MAX to BARxT, and MAX to Stockton will continue to operate.

COVID-19
All MAX buses continue to be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant and all staff members who were recently exposed to COVID-19 are quarantining, as advised by the CDC, to protect the community. We wish a speedy recovery to our drivers who are currently sick. These essential service workers make access to supplies, employment, and medical attention possible. Please keep them in your thoughts.
